Biography: 
Dr. Cai was graduated from Second Military Medical University, School of Pharmacy in 1982. He received his doctoral degree in pharmacology in 2000 from Nanjing Medical University。During 1992~1994, Dr. Cai went to United States to study clinical pharmacy under the scholarship of WHO. Postdoctoral training in pharmacogenomics was completed at the University of Kentucky, College of Pharmacy, USA in 2001. Dr. Cai is currently director and professor of Clinical Pharmacy Center, School of Pharmacy of Fuan University, Shanghai, China.
Dr. Cai’s research interests include clinical pharmacy and pharmacogenetics. His study was funded by many grants such as National Science & Technology Foundation, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education, etc.. He published more than 180 peer reviewed research papers in well-known journals, including more than 80 articles cited by SCI. He got 3 provisional second-class awards of science and technology, Government special stipend award in 2000, National award of excellent Ph.D. doctoral thesis in 2002, and second-class prize of Shanghai teaching and learning award in 2017.
Dr. Cai is now vice president of Pharmacoepidemiology of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association, member of the standing committee of Clinical Pharmacology of Chinese Pharmacology Association, and president of drug metabolism Committee of Shanghai Pharmacology Association. He is the vice editor-in-chief or editors in many top Chinese academic journals, such as China Pharmacist, Chinese Journal of Hospital Pharmacy and Chinese Journal of Clinical Pharmacy.
