Biography: 
Li Bai is a Kuang Ya Ming Distinguished Professor of Jilin University, the editor of the international journal “Food Control (IF=6.652 and SCI District 1 Top journal based on Chinese Academy of Sciences)”, and the Chair of the Department of Agro-forestry Economy Management, Jilin University. Li Bai is an expert in the research fields of consumer behavior, public health, food safety, and food waste. She contributes to projects that address public health, such as public health and food handling behaviors in the domestic environment, with a diverse experience in mixed-methods research. She also contributes to the development of effective communication and intervention strategies that help decrease food waste, such as designing and evaluating intervention impacts on consumer purchase behaviors of suboptimal foods and promoting their sales. Li Bai is the principal investigator (PI) of many research projects including National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Humanities and Social Science (HSS) Projects of Ministry of Education, and World Bank Loan Project. She published many books, chapters, and peer-reviewed papers, and some of the papers was published in journals like “International Journal of Hospitality Management”, “Land Use Policy”, “Food Control”, “Food Quality and Preference”, “Trends in Food Science & Technology”, and “Journal of Cleaner Production”. Some of her papers were cited for more than 100 times within recent 5 years. She was invited as a keynote speaker in many international conferences or forums and is a reviewer of many high-tier academic journals and has reviewed more than 120 papers.
