Title: RETRAIL QUEUEING MODEL WITH SINGLE WORKING VACATION AND SEVER BREAKDOWN USING MATRIX GEOMETRIC METHOD
Abstract:

We considered Retrial Queuing model with single working vacation and server break down. If an arriving customer finds a free server or a vacant space in the waiting line, he enters into the system; otherwise he leaves the system and enters into the orbit of infinite capacity. After a random time the customer in the orbit, called retrial customer, tries for a free server or for a vacant position. This will continue until he is successful in his trial. Such type of queue is Retrial Queuing Models.

The analysis of queuing model means the mathematical formulation, solution and computation of some stochastic characteristics. We consider the new queuing models. These models are developed based on some real life situations. For these models take arrival process is Poisson. The different models are analyzed using by the methods either analytically or numerically.

This type of Queuing model has been investigated using Matrix Geometric Method and to obtain the probabilities of the system steady state. From the probabilities, we calculated some performance measures such as average queue length, average waiting time, probability that the server is busy, blocking probabilities, etc. are discussed.
