简介：
I completed my Ph.D. from the School of Life Science at Hainan University, China. I completed my post doctorate from the School of Horticulture, Hainan University, China. Now, I am currently employed as Scientific Researcher/Assistant professor at Sanya Nanfan Research institute, Hainan University, Sanya, China. I published 20 research articles and 1 book chapter as a first author, 10-research article as corresponding authors, and 38 research articles as co-author in top leading journals of the world, having high impact factor. I also edited 2 books as editor with international publishers Springer Nature. My research interests are focused on the physiological, biochemical, and molecular aspects of horticultural plants. I am particularly engaged in investigating the role of melatonin in photosynthetic efficiency and mineral nutrient uptake from root to shoot under abiotic stress conditions. At present, Dr. Altaf serves as an editorial board member and reviewer of several high-impact international scientific journals from Elsevier, Springer Nature, Frontiers Group, and MDPI-Publishers. |
